More Reasons to Choose Our Organic Products

Why Choosing Organic Skin Care
Simply stated, high quality organic skin care products are better for your health and the environment. True natural skin care products are made with organic ingredients as nature intented, without mineral oils, parabens, synthetic preservatives, artificial colors and fragrances, GMO botanical sources and otherwise inferior or harmful substances.
We are part of nature’s web of life and our health and beauty is deeply interconnected with the health and beauty of our environment. While modern society has brought many achievements for our lives it has also flooded the world with a wide array of man made chemicals and other pollutants that not only challenges our environment but increasingly our health as well. The food we choose to eat, as well as the products we select to use, will affect our health and quality of life. When choosing skin care products, we also have to consider that everything we apply on our skin will most likely enter our body.
Unfortunately, most mainstream cosmetic products are compromised with mineral oils, synthetic preservatives and other highly processed and contaminated ingredients that are not skin-friendly nor have they nurturing, rejuvenating or healing qualities. Over time, as the skin tries to cope with these foreign substances, it becomes overburdened and weak. As a result the skin becomes more susceptible to damage by free radicals, dryness and sensitivities - as well as a host of other problems - all of which may well affect our health and accelerate the aging process.
We have only one body - it makes sense to care for it wisely. With today's numerous environmental challenges affecting the health and beauty of our environment and increasingly our health and beauty as well, it is of great importance to select the products we intend to use carefully. By shopping for high quality genuine natural skin care products made with organic ingredients, this will ensure that you receive wholesome care that are good for your body and your skin.

We've gone organic. Why you should too!

I recently came across this article. Now I KNOW why I'm going to offer organic products!

Why Buy Organic?
Top Reasons to Use Organic Body Care Products
To reduce the number of carcinogens (cancer-causing substances) entering your body. All chemicals penetrate the skin – that’s why skin-patches are now used for things like quitting smoking and birth control. As our largest organ, the skin absorbs everything and this includes the many carcinogens found in almost all body care products for women, men, and babies. Many people now believe that the less carcinogens you put into your body (whether through products, food, or environment), the more you can help to decrease your chances of getting a number of chronic illnesses and diseases.Note: The Canadian Cancer Society says that cancer now affects 1 in 2.3 men and 1 in 2.6 women. Numerous studies suggest that these rates are caused by the increasing number of carcinogens in food, products, and in the environment.
To reduce the amount of pesticides entering your body. Most body care products on the market today are a combination of plant-derived ingredients and synthetic ingredients. Any plant (whether it’s used for cosmetics, body care product, or food) can be heavily contaminated with pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. By using organic body care products, you’re ensuring that the ingredients are naturally raised and free of contaminants.
To know you’re putting only the best, most pure, ingredients into your body. Take the time to read the ingredient label of any name-brand product you currently use; chances are you don’t know what half the ingredients are, and chances are you wouldn’t want to. Truly natural products without chemical ingredients are more safe and more effective than mainstream products because they don’t contain synthetic ingredients which may be toxic to our systems; synthetics are less expensive to use which is why there’re used in most brand-name products.

My Latest Passion

I'm absolutely driven to try my hand at creating my own small, limited line of luxury organic skin and body care. Face it. We all love to be pampered. We're attracted to indulgences every day. Whether you reach for some delectable Belgian chocolate champagne truffles, that yummy feeling cashmere sweater, the $100+ perfume, or the Prada pumps, you're pampering Y-O-U. As well you should.

Before our son was born, my husband and I enjoyed an idyllic existence. We dined out as often as possible, we travelled, played golf and tennis, had regular spa visits for pampering facials and massages. We still do those things, just not as often. Our precious son is now our priority. We've managed to find the right "balance" in our lives to enjoy our little family as well as our small indulgences. We're not extremely complicated people. We simply know what we like.

My wonderful husband, Kenneth and I are commited to offering you quality, eco-friendly products incorporating only safe, organic ingredients from nature. All products will be available in light, calming scents as well as unscented. Body lotions, creams, natural deodorants, body firming creams, as well as exfoliating body scrubs, facial masks as well as silkening hair conditioners which won't weigh your hair down.

After my line of luxury skin and body care products for men , women and children is launched, I do hope you'll care to give them a try. I hope to help you create a relaxing, soothing experience in a calm atmosphere. Complimentary samples available upon request.

A Passion for Fashion

As far back as I can remember, I had an interest in the creative area of fashion design. I lived and breathed it in my teens. Vogue was my favorite. American Vogue, French Vogue, Italian Vogue. Had to read them all. I thought nothing of spending $60+ on fashion publications to feed my craving. For me, Monday mornings in high school was my chance to wear my latest outfit!

Obviously, I chose fashion design as a career. I was more than ready for college. I attended and graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. The years spent there and at the Orange County campus in Costa Mesa (first year there) were most memorable. I made some lifelong friends. We all went our separate ways. My friend, Rod and I made an unofficial pact to move to NY after graduation. He did. I stayed in CA to work. We still keep in touch. He adores my husband, Kenneth and our son Sean! He was the most hilarious person I ever met. Yes, at 19, we all thought his antics of blacking out his front tooth with chocolate cake at Hamburger Hamlet in L.A. was hysterical. Picture it. A big grin for the waitress when she came around to ask how our meal was.
